Deer Farm North - 8 Miles

We've only done this walk once - it is spoilt by having to do a half mile or so along the A272 which is normally very busy. I'm still counting stiles - this time it was only six!

A spectacular tree on the start of the walk

FIRST stile   The deer were in a distant field

The footpath through the deer farm   Deer

Deer

SECOND stile   Beech nuts

THIRD stile   Lovely trees

The bridge at Durley Marsh pick-your-own farm   The footpath - going north to join our normal route

Breakfast bench   A view through trees

Clouds bubble up on the horizon

Poppies look lovely - but the farmer probably doesn't want them in his corn field!

The footpath is closed this time of year!   FOURTH stile

Horse chestnut trees are one of the first to have leaves in the spring - and now they are about to lose them - still beautiful
