Combination Walk 1: Deer Farm North then The Jolly Drover in reverse direction - 9 Miles
It was almost overcast at the start - completely cloudy, but the forecast came right later and it was lovely with lots of sun and clouds. This is a new walk: a combination of Deer Farm North and the Jolly Drover going north - which also meant that we were able to walk DOWN the Farther Common hill, which is a struggle to walk UP.
We also took a path we've not taken before - going towards Durford Mill, across maize fields.
A good start - we need to get into that field! |
