Petersfield - Liss - Petersfield: 8.01 miles - 17,513 Steps

The first and only walk in October! It's been a busy month and I also damaged my left knee tripping over a drain cover, so it was probably good to have had an enforced rest.

The previous day and the next two days were wonderfully warm and sunny but the day I chose to walk was cloudy and misty, but still warm and I enjoyed the walk.

These look like blackcurrents, but I didn't try them!   Rose hips

Some nice reflections in the pond in
Petersfield Golf Course
When it rains the path turns into a stream and the running water collects leaves and pine needles in neat piles

A home in the woods?   A single leaf was suspended in the air on a spider's thread - click to see whe whole picture

You might remember that I picked some apples in September (see 7 September) - here are the remains on the ground

I'm not sure what crop this is - but I plan to photograph this field each time I do this walk

Another field to check on!   Regular visitors will recognise this footpath - now walkable
