Petersfield - Liss - Petersfield: 7.42 miles - 16,224 steps

This was my first proper walk since November - I tore a muscle in my leg in early December and Christmas/New Year is always busy.

On doctor's advice I took it very steady - and was happy to do so! It was cold (about 4C) and overcast but the countryside has its own, sombre beauty in the winter. I have decided that I am firmly autumn/winter person - I prefer the cold to the heat!

Lots of sharpened stakes - are we expecting vampires?   Low Tech advertising

Yesterday, when I stayed in all day, was sunny but the low cloud and mist has its own sombre attraction

It's that footpath again - clear at this time of year   A rather barren landscape
