Saturday 17 March

Petersfield - Liss - Petersfield: 7.40 miles - 16,175 Steps - 3 hours 5 minutes

I don't normally go walking on Saturdays but Liz and I did all the shopping on Friday on our way back from The Tenth Hole where, after lovely soup and cake, we strolled along the sea-front in warm Spring sunshine, so there was no need to go into Petersfield.

The next day, Saturday, it was 1C and snowing, so I wrapped up warm and did a favourite old walk. Initially the snow was blowing in my eyes and I wished that I had snow goggles, but it stopped after a while. The previous day's sunshine has warmed the ground and the snow didn't settle on the paths and roads - but it did on the vegetation which looked lovely.
